CRANFORD HONORARY P.B.A LOCAL #52 HAS BEEN REBORN AND IS SEEKING ASSISTANCE

During the 1980’s and early 1990’s The Cranford Honorary P.B.A. Local #52 served and supported the members of the Cranford Police Department. This organization consisted of business owners and citizens who fully supported the Cranford Police Department, the Cranford Policemen’s Benevolent Association Local #52 and their respective members. The Honorary P.B.A actively aided in the good and welfare of all Cranford police officers and their families. The Honorary also physically and monetarily supported the Cranford Police Department. with many programs that helped foster better and more professional relationships between the Police and the community.
The spirit that brought about this organization is again alive and well in 2016. Spearheaded by active and retired Cranford P.B.A. members and dedicated community members, the Cranford Honorary P.B.A Local #52 has been reborn. Its mission is simple:
“To promote the morale, professionalism and good and welfare of the Cranford Police Department and to promote and grow the relationship between the citizens, business owners and the members of the Cranford Policemen’s Benevolent Association and the Honorary P.B.A.”
Up until this year the PBA has depended on individual business owners and private citizens when they were in need of assistance- especially in regards to charitable work. With the re-creation of the Cranford Honorary PBA as a standalone registered 501c3, there is now an actual structured organization to simplify these efforts. The Cranford Honorary P.B.A. is seeking individuals who are interested in pioneering the rebirth of this noble organization.
