Historic Plaque Price Increase

Residents in Cranford’s North Historic District have been able to purchase distinctive 8” x 10” oval bronze plaques for $150 for some time, but due to materials costs increases, the Cranford Historic Preservation Advisory Board (HPAB) has been forced to announce a $25 price increase taking effect March 1, 2022. For residents living in the North Cranford Historic District who would like to own one of these distinctive bronze plaques, now is the time to order one.

Visit preservecranford.com and check the map on the homepage to see if your house is eligible as a contributing home within the North Historic District. A small number of these distinctive plaques are currently available and the plaques are hand delivered to your home. Plaques are bronze, designed to be attached to the outside of your home, and show your personal interest and commitment to preserving Cranford’s historical heritage.
