CHS Production – Urinetown
Cranford High School Performing Arts Department proudly presents Urinetown (yes, like urine – yes, that’s the title) on March 1 at 7:30 p.m., March 2 at 7:30 p.m., and March 3 at 2:00 p.m.
Premiering on Broadway in 2001, with music by Mark Hollman, book by Greg Kotis, and lyrics by Hollman and Kotis, Urinetown centers on a world where a 20-year drought has limited the water supply so severely, that citizens are forced to pay to use the bathroom – or suffer the harsh consequences. We’ve said too much already, we wouldn’t want to spoil the show!
You better “Run, Freedom, Run” to buy your tickets by visiting chs.booktix.com or emailing Mrs. Elizabeth Adams adams@cranfordschools.org, starting February 4. If you want to know “What is Urinetown?” then we hope to see you at the performances!
Make sure you go to the bathroom before the show… it is a “Privilege to Pee” after all…
