Dr. Paul Truche Receives Harvard Degree
Dr. Paul Truche, a Cranford High School and Rutgers RW Johnson medical school graduate, received his Masters of Public Health degree from the TH Chan School of Public Health at Harvard University.
A Cranford native and Cranford First Aid Squad member, Truche became an EMT as a high school junior, and began responding to emergency medical calls. Truche said “We were very short-staffed at the First Aid Squad then, so I was able to ride as many shifts as I wanted. I practically lived at CFAS and went on hundreds of calls. I gained experience that very few high school students could get.”
Dr. Truche, also a global surgery fellow at Harvard’s Paul Farmer Global Surgery program, will now return to complete his residency in general surgery at Robert Wood University Hospital.
