Holiday House Decorating Contest 2019
The Annual Clark Recreation House Decorating Contest judges made their selection of winners after much discussion and deliberation. The homes this year were off the charts as far as creativity, balance, charm, fun, themed and over the top. Thirty Three homes registered to be judged (the most ever) but unfortunately there can only be 3 winners. After much discussion, opinions and arguing the winners were selected with a tie for the Overall Favorite category, one home for Most Traditional, and one home for Most Outrageous bringing the total to 4.
The winners of the contest are as follows – the Most Outrageous (in a good way) is the Terzo Family at 79 Ivy St. Most Traditional is G ’Sell Family at 11 Poplar Tr. Tied for Overall Favorite is LaVecchia Family at 21 Wheatsheaf Rd and the Herd Family at 82 Briarheath Ln. Honorable mentions are 84 Terhune, 56 MaeBelle Dr, 9 Skylark, 45 Tudor Dr, 517 Oak Ridge Rd, and 92 Mildred Tr. Each winning family received a $50 Gift card to Ace Hardware, Lawn sign and bragging rights.
