Clark’s 6-week Summer Recreation Camp is in full swing. Each week has a theme. To give you a taste of what a week is like in this amazing camp featured here is the week themed “Tye Dye”. It allowed all campers to tye dye a T-shirt provided by the camp. The children were then treated to Shark attack similar to bucking bronco, visits from the famous Jack Black Hoop Wizard featured on Channel 11 news, John Marshall weatherman – who was on Channel 4 for 13 years, and then campers had a chance to race a car. The week ended with wacky water day with giant waterslides and a visit from Kona ice and over 600 kids made their own icy. WOW, and the fun continues!
The camp has broken all records this year with a whopping 1,180 children signed up and over 600 a day in attendance. Safety and Fun are most important and Recreation Director Ralph Bernardo does his best with 157 counselors to run a tight ship.
