Please register for any programs through the online calendar on our website at clarklibrary.org, in person, by phone at 732-388-5999, or by email at reference@clarklibrary.org and state which program you would like to attend.
The library will be closed on September 2, 3 & 4 for Labor Day Weekend.
Sunday library hours will resume on Sunday, September 10. Sunday hours are 1pm to 5pm.
The library will have a delayed opening on Thursday, September 28 for staff training. Library will open at 2pm.
Open Play for Little Ones, Friday, September 1 & 8 and Tuesday, September 5 at 10 am
There’s no story time today, but please feel free to drop in for open play with the library’s toys!

Teen Pop Up Positivity, Starting Tuesday, September 5
Teens: why not share some positive messages with your peers to keep them going through the start of the school year? Come into the library during the month of September to help us decorate bookmarks with positive messages. Bookmarks will be provided by the library. Bring them home to decorate or use supplies in the library. On September 26th at 3:15pm, you are tasked with sticking them in books in the teen section!
Patches and Stitches on Tuesdays, September 5, 12, 19 & 26 at 12pm
Bring your quilt or other crafty project and visit with the members of the quilting club.

Baby Bookworms, Tuesdays, September 12, 19, & 26 at 10am
Babies and toddlers are invited to listen to some books, and learn some songs, rhymes, lap bounces, and fingerplays. 30 minutes of open play follows. Registration is requested. Virtual option is available.
Afternoon Book Club on Tuesday, September 12 at 1pm
Join us for our next afternoon book club meeting. We will be discussing “The Holdout” by Graham Moore. Please speak with a librarian or email reference@clarklibrary.org if you need a copy of the book.
Digital LiteracyTutoring on Wednesday, September 13 & 27 at 11am
Do you need help with your digital literacy skills? Join us for tutoring sessions on topics including Google Drive, Microsoft, Email, and resume help. Registration is required as sessions are limited to 4 students at a time.
English as a Second Language Tutoring on Wednesday, September 13, 20 & 27 at 2pm
The Clark Public Library hosts weekly English as a Second Language tutoring sessions. Registration is required as sessions are limited to 4 students.
Krafty Kids on Wednesday, September 13 at 3:30pm
Join us as we make some fun and creative artwork! Don’t forget to bring your imagination and creativity! Registration is required. Geared for entering Kindergarten-5th grade.
Tinker Tots on Thursday, September 14 at 10am
Come join us for a morning of fun STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) activities perfect for little ones. Play is station based. For children ages 1 through pre-k. Please register.
Teen Advisory Board on Thursday, September 14 at 7pm
The Teen Advisory Board (TAB) helps create, plan, and run teen programs and services they would like offered at the Clark Public Library. These programs and services may be for teens by teens, or they may be for other members of our library and larger community.
Stories & More, Fridays, September 15, 22, & 29 at 10am
Stories, movement, songs followed by a simple craft for active listeners ages 3 – 5 years old. Registration is required.
LEGO Club on Friday, September 15 at 3:15pm
Create your own LEGO® structures to be displayed in theChildren’s area of the library! LEGO® are provided by the library. For children entering grades K – 5.
Teen Gaming Club on Monday, September 18 at 3pm
Drop by the library any time between 3:00- 4:30pm for a fun afternoon of gaming. Play some Nintendo Switch games on our big screen or bring your own device. Snacks will be served! Open to Grades 6-12.
Evening Book Club on Monday, September 18 at 7pm
Join us for our next evening book club meeting. We’ll be discussing “Finding Dorothy” by Elizabeth Letts. Please speak with a librarian or email reference@clarklibrary.org if you need a copy of the book.
[Adult Craft]: “Hello Fall” Sign on Wednesday, September 20 at 11am
Get creative as we make a decorative “Hello Fall” hanging sign using Cricut vinyl and acrylic paint. Clark library card holders will receive priority registration. Out of town patrons will be placed on a waiting list and will be notified if there is space in the class.
Little Scientist on Thursday, September 21 at 3:30pm
Learn how to build and create with our Science Experiments! Each session will be a different experiment that will touch upon a different STEM skill. This session we will be focusing on the solar system.
Teen Stress-Less: Paint Pouring on Thursday, September 21 at 7pm
Teen Stress-Less is a series of programs designed to help teens unwind and relax. All Stress-Less programs focus on the process of making arts, crafts, and other projects. Come and try out some relaxing art techniques in a space that is designed to chat and enjoy the company of friends! Open to Grades 6 -12.
Sunday Afternoon Family Movie on Sunday, September 24 at 2pm
Join us for an afternoon movie about a mermaid who lives in an underwater kingdom with her father and her five older sisters. When a mermaid turns fifteen, she is permitted to swim to the surface for the first time to catch a glimpse of the world above.
Big Feet Dinosaur Show with Muscle Man Mike on Monday, September 25 at 10:30am
Join us on your day off school to see a fun show! Muscle Man Mike and his Special Guest Dina the Baby Dino will take us to the time when Dinosaurs ruled the earth! The Show is filled with dinosaur facts, music and of course, Dino Magic!

Join us on Thursday for a special evening storytime! Interactive stories, songs, and fun for children of all ages! Registration is required.
Mario Kart Live Circuit on Thursday, September 28 at 7pm
Race a real-world Mario Kart through the Ayers Room of the library. Use our Nintendo Switch to control the kart, or bring your own from home to try it out. Set up your own course through the room and watch as it reacts to what is happening in-game as you race through the circuit. Open to ages 5 and up.
Friends of the Library Outdoor Vendor and Craft Fair on Saturday, September 30 from 9am – 3pm
Enjoy a day of shopping at the Friends of the Clark Library’s Outdoor Vendor and Craft Fair at the Clark Library. Fall and Holiday décor, jewelry, make-up, hair products, candles, accessories, jewelry, books, home decor, signs, and much more. Enjoy food by Dinny’s Dinners LLC food truck. Bring your unwanted gold and silver and receive money for it with IGC Precious Metal and Gemstone Buyers. Buy your Fall chrysanthemums at our Flower Sale that day. Admission is free. Rain date is October 1. This event is sponsored by the Friends of the Clark Library.
