The library will be closed on the following dates:

Stories & More, Friday, November 3 at 10am
Stories, movement, songs followed by a simple craft for active listeners ages 3 – 5 years old.
Registration is required.
Friends of Library Book Sale on Saturday, November 4 from 10am to 3pm
English as a Second Language Conversation Class on Saturday, November 4, 11 & 18 from 11am-12pm
Practice English and conversation. For beginners to intermediates.
Tales for Tots, Mondays, November 6 & 27 at 10am
Stories and songs for active listeners.Geared toward ages 2-3 with a caregiver. Older children are welcome!
30 minutes of open play follows.
Mary Jemison: White Woman of the Genesee on Monday, November 6 at 7pm Taken captive as a young girl near Gettysburg, Mary grew up as an adopted Seneca, becoming one of them and choosing to remain with and live like this tribe all her adult life. Alisa Dupuy portrays Mary as a bridge between two cultures – she who was born into one but became a woman in another.
Boogie Woogie Babies on Tuesday, November 7 at 10am
Boogie Woogie Babies is a 30-45 minute dance class for baby and their big person! Classes consist of singing and dancing geared towards working on fine motor skills. Class ends with a dance routine that includes baby and their big person. Both adults and little people get to socialize, have fun, and most importantly, bond! Plus adults get to burn a few calories! Class is geared towards ages 6 months-2 years old, but all ages are welcome with an adult! Priority registration for Clark residents with a library card.
Cooks & Books Society on Tuesday, November 7 at 6:30pm
Cooking up culinary adventures through the pages! Each month we will pick a different theme. Library staff and patrons will cook different recipes and bring them in for others to try. November’s theme is side-dishes.
Patches and Stitches on Tuesdays, November 7, 14, 21 & 28 at 12pm
Bring your quilt or other crafty project and visit with the members of the quilting club.
Totally New Tuesdays on November 7, 14, 21 & 28 at 6:30pm
Enjoy a new movie for adults just released to DVD on our big screen. Please check our online calendar or visit the library to check the movies being shown.
Digital Literacy Tutoring on Wednesday, November 8 & 22 at 11am
Do you need help with your digital literacy skills? Join us for tutoring sessions on topics including Google Drive, Microsoft, Email, and resume help. Registration is required as sessions are limited to 4 students at a time.
Krafty Kids on Wednesday, November 8 at 3:30pm
Join us as we make some fun and creative artwork! Don’t forget to bring your imagination and creativity! Registration is required. Geared for entering Kindergarten-5th grade.
Teen Manga/Anime Club on Thursday, November 9 at 2pm
Join us in our second Teen Manga/Anime Club! In each meeting participants will have the opportunity to share their art, work on a small Manga/Anime related craft, eat snacks and discuss our current Manga/Anime reads, and watch 1-2 episodes of Anime. The theme will be decided in the October club meeting. Registration is required to attend this program.
Penguin Pointers on Thursday, November 9 at 6:30pm
Watch a live penguin from Jenkinson’s Aquarium waddle around and learn about its care, feeding and conservation. Priority registration will be given to Clark residents with library cards. All others will remain on the pending waitlist until 48 hours before the event if space remains. Please register children and adults for the program.
Union County Aging Services Kiosk on Monday, November 13 at 10am – 12pm
Do you have questions about services available in Union County for seniors or their caregivers? Come visit the Union County Aging Services Kiosk, speak to our specialist and get answers to your questions.
Open Play for Little Ones on Mondays, November 13 & 20, Tuesdays, November 14 & 21 and Friday, November 17 from 10am – 11am
There’s no story time these days, but please feel free to drop in for open play with the library’s toys!
Teen Gaming Club – Smash Bros Tourney on Monday, November 13 at 3pm
Drop by the library any time between 3:00 – 4:30pm for a fun afternoon of gaming. Play some Nintendo Switch games on our big screen or bring your own device. We will be having a casual Smash Brothers Tournament. Prizes will be awarded. Snacks will be served! Registration is required to be eligible for prizes. Open to Grades 6-12.
Give Thanks Family Storytime on Monday, November 13 at 6:30 pm
Join us for a special evening storytime for Thanksgiving! Interactive stories, songs, and fun for children of all ages! A simple craft follows. Registration is requested.

Come join us for a morning of fun STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) activities perfect for little ones. Play is station based. For children ages 1 through pre-k. Please register.

Teen Stress-Less: Finger Painting on Thursday, November 16 at 7pm
Teen Stress-Less is a series of programs designed to help teens unwind and relax. All Stress-Less programs focus on the process of making arts, crafts, and other projects. Come and try out some relaxing art techniques. in a space that is designed to chat and enjoy the company of friends! Open to Grades 6 -12. Registration is required.
Evening Book Club on Monday, November 20 from 7pm-8pm
Join us for our next evening book club meeting. We’ll be discussing “Woman on Fire” by Lisa Barr. Please speak with a librarian or emailreference@clarklibrary.org if you need a copy of the book.
Evening LEGO® Club on Monday, November 27 from 6:30pm – 7:45pm
Create your own LEGO® structures to be displayed in the Children’s area of the library! LEGO® are provided by the library. For children entering grades K – 5.
Baby Bookworms,Tuesday, November 28 at 10am
Babies and toddlers are invited to listen to some books, and learn some songs, rhymes, lap bounces, and fingerplays. 30 minutes of open play follows. Registration is requested.

Enjoy bagels and coffee while we chat about books you have been reading and learn what others in your community are reading as well.
Little Scientist on Thursday, November 30 at 3:30pm
Learn how to build and create with our Science Experiments! Each session will be a different experiment that will touch upon a different STEM skill.

Each month we have a new take-home craft to pick up and make at your leisure. While supplies last, no registration.
