Stories, movement, and songs followed by a simple craft for active listeners ages 3 -5 years old. Registration is required.

Film Screening: Every Day is a Holiday
Monday, November 7 at 6:30 pm
Chinese-American filmmaker Theresa Loong creates an intimate portrait of her father, a man fifty years her senior. Paul Loong talks of his experiences as a POW in Japan and his subsequent quest to become an American. We discover why, despite much suffering, “Every Day Is a Holiday.” Attendees who donate (any amount) to the American Legion Post #328 in Clark will receive a DVD copy of the documentary. Sponsored by the Friends of the Clark Library.

Baby Bookworms
Tuesdays, November 8, 15, & 29, 10:00 am
Babies and toddlers are invited to listen to some books and learn some songs, rhymes, lap bounces, and fingerplays. 30 minutes of open play follows. Please note: There is no meeting the week of Thanksgiving, Nov. 22, but you may come for open play.

Little Al the Allosaurus with Pearl Observatory

Be a paleontologist on your day off school! Little Al is a 3D interlocking puzzle of an Allosaurus Dinosaur. With over 30 pieces to piece together, every child will get the chance to participate in rebuilding our Jurassic Dinosaur. They will also feel a real dinosaur egg, hold dinosaur bones, and touch a dino tooth! Geared to ages 3-8. Registration is required. If the session fills, a 3:00 pm session may be added

After School Board Games

Drop in Dino Craft

Clark schools have an early dismissal, so we will be making dinosaur crafts! Preschool through elementary students are invited to drop in.

Barks & Books

If you have a young, reluctant, or struggling reader, we want you to meet our therapy dogs! Therapy dogs are non-judgmental listeners, and furry friends to read to that won’t laugh if a child makes a mistake or stumbles over a word. Children learn to associate reading with being with the dog and begin to view reading in a positive way. Over time, the child’s reading ability and confidence can improve because they are practicing their skills. Children will each get approximately 15 minutes of reading time with Bubble, Magnolia, or Sophie. Please register for a 15-minute time slot.

Little Scientist Dino Terrariums

Learn how to build and create with our Science Experiments! Each session will be a different experiment that will touch upon a different STEM skill. For ages 6-12.

Trivia Nights: The Marvel Cinematic Universe

Test your knowledge alongside your friends at Clark Public Library’s twice-monthly TRIVIA NIGHTS! Every other Thursday we will be hosting a trivia contest on everything from history to the biggest hits on Netflix. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners will receive both a prize and bragging rights. This week’s Trivia Night will be all things MCU, from what Hulk smashed to what Groots says.

LEGO® Club

Join us for the LEGO® Club at the Clark Public Library! Create your own LEGO® structures. LEGO® are provided by the library. Creations are displayed in the Children’s Area. For children in grades K – 5.

Toddler Dino Party
Monday, November 28 at 10 am
Enjoy a fun-filled morning with your little ones! We will be reading some Dinosaur books, doing a Dinosaur craft, and playing Dinosaur themed music! Come dressed in your Dinosaur best! Geared toward ages 2-3 with a caregiver. Older children are welcome!

Maker Monday 3D Pens
Monday, November 28 at 3:30 pm
Join us as we use hands-on STEAM learning to create an object with the materials given. Registration is required. Masks are optional for programs. For ages 9-12

Explore the night sky in the portable StarLab Planetarium. Learn how to find planets, constellations, and more. For children ages 4-12, willing to enter the planetarium independently. Registration is required. If the session fills, a 3:00 pm session may be added.

Each month we have a new take-home craft to pick up and make at your leisure. While supplies last, no registration.
