The library will be closed on Sundays. Sunday hours will resume after Labor Day.

Finger Painting on Monday, June 3 at 10am and Friday, June 14 at 10am
No childhood is complete without some good, old-fashioned, messy finger painting. We will read a story and then make some squishy, colorful creations. Wear some old clothes!
Teen Advisory Board on Monday, June 3 at 3:15pm
Teens – let your voice be heard at the library! The Teen Advisory Board (TAB) helps create, plan, and run teen programs and services they would like offered at the Clark Public Library. TAB participants work directly with the librarians to develop ideas and bring them to life. TAB is open to all teens in Grades 6-12. Teens in neighboring towns are always welcome to join. Registration is required.

Patches and Stitches on Tuesdays, June 4, 11, 18 & 25 from 12pm – 2pm
Bring your quilt or other crafty project and visit with the members of the quilting club.
Afternoon Book Club on Tuesday, June 4 at 1pm

Needlework Club on Saturday, June 8 at 10am
Are you interested in sharing your needlework craft or learning a new one? Needlework includes counted cross stitch, needlepoint, knitting, crocheting, embroidery, quilting, etc. Come when you can and stay as long as you like. Bring what you are working on to sit, stitch, and chat with others who enjoy needlework! The club will meet one Saturday per month. If you have any questions, please drop by the meeting and someone will assist you.
Summer Reading Challenge Registration Begins on June 10! Adventure Begins at the Library!
All ages are invited to register for our annual summer reading challenge. Register at clarklibrary.beanstack.org or with the free Beanstack Tracker app. Participants track their reading and earn raffle tickets for prizes! Children earn little prizes along the way!
Evening Book Club on Monday, June 10 at 7pm
Join us for our next evening book club meeting. We will be discussing “Pineapple Street” by Jenny Jackson. Please speak with a librarian or email reference@clarklibrary.org if you need a copy of the book.
Little Scientist on Thursday, June 13 at 3:30pm
Learn how to build and create with our Science Experiments! Each session will be a different experiment that will touch upon a different STEM skill.
LEGO Master Builders on Friday, June 14 at 3:15pm
Create your own LEGO® structures to be displayed in the Children’s area of the library! LEGO® are provided by the library. For children entering grades K – 5. Light snacks will be served.
Boogie Woogie Babies on Tuesday, June 18 at 10am
Boogie Woogie Babies is a 30-45 minute dance class for baby and their big person! Classes consist of singing and dancing geared towards working on fine motor skills. Class ends with a dance routine that includes baby and their big person. Both adults and little people get to socialize, have fun, and most importantly, bond! Plus adults get to burn a few calories! Class is geared towards ages 6 months-2 years old, but all ages are welcome with an adult!
Adult Summer Reading Kick Off: Free Adventure BINGO on Tuesday, June 18 at 7pm
Join us for adventure-themed BINGO to jumpstart the adult summer reading program. Small prizes for winners (non-monetary).
Summer Reading Kick Off: Unique Creatures Around The World on Thursday, June 20 at 6-8pm
Join us to kick-off our annual Summer Reading Challenge: Adventure Begins at the Library! Drop in to make a craft beginning at 6 pm and stay for a visit from Unique Creatures to see live animals from around the world! Animal show begins at 7 pm. Attendees must register for the summer reading challenge to attend the animal show. You may register at clarklibrary.beanstack.org or use the free Beanstack Tracker app available in the App Store or Google Play beginning June 10th.
Tales for Tots, Monday, June 24 at 9:45am OR at 10:30am
Stories and songs for active listeners.Geared toward ages 2-3 with a caregiver.
Older children are welcome! 30 minutes of open play follows. Please register.
Adventure Begins at Your Library: Teen DIY Cricut Travel Pouch on Monday, June 24 at 2pm
Travel in style this summer! We’ll be making a DIY zipper pouch with a travel phrase and design using Cricut vinyl. Open to teens in Grades 6-12.
Baby Bookworms on Tuesday, June 25 at 10am
Babies and toddlers are invited to listen to some books, and learn some songs, rhymes, lap bounces, and fingerplays. 30 minutes of open play follows. Registration is requested.
Adventures in Crafting Around the World for Kids on Wednesday, June 26 at 3pm
Adventure begins at the library this summer! Join us for a weekly craft program for elementary aged children with a featured craft from regions of the world!
This week we will make a safari craft to celebrate Africa!
Stories and More on Friday, June 28 at 10am
Join us for stories, songs, and rhymes followed by a simple craft.This program is designed for children ages 3 and up. Registration is required.
Books & Bagels on Friday, June 28 at 11:15am
Enjoy bagels and coffee while we chat about books you have been reading and learn what others in your community are reading as well.
Friday Family Flicks on Friday, June 28 at 2pm
Beat the heat Friday afternoons while watching a family friendly movie and munching on popcorn! All movies will feature the Summer Reading theme of Adventure Begins at the Library by being set in a different continent or having an adventure!
This week we will visit Africa! A lion cub named Simba looks forward to following in his father’s footsteps and becoming king of the African pride lands one day, but his happy childhood turns tragic when his uncle murders his father and drives him into exile. Rated G.
