Clark Cub Scouts Assists UNICO Feast Cleanup
Scouts from varying ranks of Clark-based Cub Scout Pack 145 and members of their families came out in record numbers to give back to their community through cleanup efforts on Columbus Day following the Clark UNICO Italian American Feast.
Over the past several years, Pack 145 has worked with Clark Recreation Director Ralph Bernardo and the Clark Department of Public Works to organize the service project for scouts to assist with the post-feast cleanup. Nearly 50 Cub Scouts and family members participated in the morning activity, walking the grounds and picking up debris in the spirit of the scouting outdoor code that scouts will “be clean in (their) outdoor manners” while also observing their pledge to “leave no trace behind.”
