On Sunday, September 18th, the Clark chapter of UNICO joined with the group of District 10 UNICANS to march in the 2016 Basilone Parade. John Basilone, a New Jersey native, is honored annually with a parade. Basilone is a WWII hero. He was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor and The Navy Cross. Basilone was the only enlisted Marine to return to action after winning the Medal of Honor and was killed in action.
