Fall Schedule of Events
Clark American Legion
The Clark American Legion Auxiliary Unit 328 has scheduled events for the Fall season. The Auxiliary season started in September with the ladies helping the American Legion with its annual Golf Outing on September 25. The Golf Outing raises money for scholarships for Veterans children and grandchildren of Post 328. Held at Ashbrook Golf Course, the event hosts a BBQ lunch after golf for those in attendance. The Auxiliary and members of the SAL cooked and prepared the lunch as well as the continental breakfast offered to golfers before the start of the day.
October and November have three breakfasts on the calendar. The Ladies start cooking at 9:30 a.m. on the Sunday mornings of Oct. 1, Oct. 15 and Nov. 5 preparing breakfast options for $7.00 including coffee. NFL football has morning games on these dates as teams play overseas. The fun starts at 9:30 a.m. with fresh cooked breakfast to order and football on the many TVs around the bar area. Join our veterans for a fun Sunday morning during football season.
Also, on the Auxiliary schedule are visits to Lyons Veterans Hospital in Basking Ridge, The NJ Veterans Memorial Home in Menlo Park, our annual Members children party with a visit with Santa in December.
Join us for breakfast and meet Clark’s veterans. Breakfast is served at 9:30 a.m. October 1, October 15, and November 5.
Breakfasts are held at the Clark American Legion Post 328, 78 Westfield Avenue, Clark, NJ.
