The City of Summit Fire Department is partnering with Comfort Zone Camp (CZC) and the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation to provide training on Saturday, April 21, 2018, for a three-day, summer weekend camp program for youth ages seven to 17 who are grieving the loss of a parent who has died in the line of duty as a firefighter.
Volunteer training will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2018 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at The Grand Summit Hotel located at 570 Springfield Avenue, Summit, New Jersey. All volunteers must complete the six-hour training and pass a background check to participate in the summer camp, which runs from Friday, June 29 to Sunday, July 1 in Johnsonburg, New Jersey.
