The Cranford Police Department will be holding the 7th session of the Citizens Police Academy in March 2017. The Citizens Academy is part of the ongoing effort for the Cranford Police Department and the community to work together and develop a lasting relationship. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age and either live in or work in Cranford. Academy students will receive classroom lectures and hands on demonstrations in many areas of interest, including computer crimes, narcotic enforcement, traffic stops, and juvenile laws. Classes are two hours long and have been tentatively scheduled to meet Wednesday evenings beginning on March 15th and ending in mid-June.To download an application please visit the Cranford Police Department website at http://www.cranford.com/police/ and look under the forms tab.
