Christ Child Society Day of Service 2023

The Christ Child Society of Summit, NJ(CCS) celebrated their National Day of Service on November 14, 2023. Over 25 members of the organization came together to knit hats, cut and sew fleece blankets, and de-tag hundreds of articles of baby clothing. These items were assembled into 77 layette packages which were delivered the next day to the Health Start clinics at Overlook and Morristown hospitals.
Also collected were food items that were donated to Loaves and Fishes, as well as diapers, baby wipes, and new and gently used books to be distributed to Area Baby Center (ABC).
