The all-volunteer Chatham Emergency Squad is delighted to publicly thank the Chatham Jaycees for their financial support this year. As a result of their generosity, CES was able to purchase an additional 8 pagers to replace outdated or broken pagers. These pagers are a key part of our response to the community as many of our volunteers respond from work or home, including throughout the night, whether they are members of the assigned duty crew, or responding to scramble calls when more than one ambulance is dispatched. CES is supported almost 100% by donations from our community so we are particularly grateful when recognized by an organization like the Jaycees.
