The Summit community once again welcomes the Chalkboard Conversations, presented by the United Methodist Church in Summit (UMC) located at 17 Kent Pl Blvd, Summit.
Each year the volunteers at UMC place a large chalkboard in front of the church with a question posted and allows all who wish to answer. “What brings you joy?” That was the very first question on the very first week of the very first year of the Chalkboard ministry. This year will mark the fourth year of this wonderful community activity. In the last week of June, UMC will once again position the large chalkboard outside of the church, and will post a weekly question on it for community response. Wander by regularly to reflect on the question posted, add your response to the board, and review the responses of others! (And if you would like to be part of the team that oversees the weekly “refreshing” of the board, please speak with Pastor Hogan.)
United Methodist Church also invites the public to make your way a few steps over to enjoy their beautiful community garden.
