Ceremony for Disposal of Unserviceable Flags North Plainfield

American Legion Ball-Kirch Post 265 will be conducting a flag retirement ceremony at 7:00 p.m. on June 14, Flag Day, at Vermeule Park behind the Vermeule Community Center. Old and unusable American flags may be dropped off at the North Plainfield Library on Rockview Ave. or brought to the ceremony by 6:30 p.m. The public, especially Boy Scout and Girl Scout troops, are invited to attend this patriotic event.  The rain date is June 21 at 7:00 p.m.
