Celebrate the Season With New Jersey Festival Orchestra!

From traditional to pops, choral favorites to musical theater classics, the upcoming season of NJ Festival Orchestra concerts will fill the entire family with holiday cheer Kick of the holidays with a bang and plenty of bling on Saturday, December 10 at 7pm at the Presbyterian Church in Westfield as Maestro David Wroe and NJFO musicians present for Home for the Holidays, a family festival of symphonic pops, traditional and contemporary songs guaranteed to make the season merry. This year’s concert features special guests The Three Holiday Tenors who are set to dazzle, delight and captivate with a beautiful selection of renowned tenor musical classics.
This seasonal stroll of timeless classics and sentimental holiday favorites, made possible by Jerome and Helene Dreskin, The Westfield Foundation and by a HEART (History, Education, Arts Reaching Thousands) Grant from the Union County Board of Chosen Freeholders, is sure to bring joy, smiles, and distinctive holiday memories to all. Tickets prices range from $28 to $76 for adults and there is a special discount price of only $15 for students K-12, making this event a perfect start to the holiday season for the whole family.
On Saturday, December 31st, at 7pm, the NJ Festival Orchestra again presents one of New Jersey’s most popular New Year’s Eve musical celebrations. This year’s performance, On the Town, promises a superb revue of American musical theater favorites presented in glorious symphonic splendor and will be appreciated by young and not-so-young alike. Tickets are $40 to $70 with a special discount price of only $20 for kids under 18.
The cabaret style New Year’s Eve celebration has become a musical event eagerly anticipated by much of central New Jersey. This year’s line up reads like a Who’s Who of the best of American musical theater composers and again features renowned guest vocalists direct from the Broadway stage.
The NYE concert will take place in the Westfield High School auditorium, 550 Dorian Road in Westfield, and will finish at approximately 9pm. Patrons are advised to purchase tickets well in advance as this concert has been a sell out for the past five years.
