Celebrate the Holiday Season with Westfield’s New Jersey Festival Orchestra!
From traditional to pops, choral favorites, renowned tenor fare and Broadway favorites, the winter season of Westfield’s New Jersey Festival Orchestra (NJFO) concerts will fill the entire family with warmth and cheer.
On Saturday, December 7th at the Presbyterian Church in Westfield, NJFO, led by Maestro David Wroe, kicks off the holiday season with a bang and plenty of bling with The Three Holiday Tenors, a family festival of traditional and contemporary Holiday songs and music, sing-a-longs and more.
The concert features Metropolitan Opera’s internationally acclaimed tenor Barry Banks, and award winning tenors Jesse Donner and Matthew Vickers to celebrate and captivate with a dazzling selection of renowned tenor arias. Traditional carols, signature versions of familiar fare and a host of wintertime curiosities are also sure to delight.
“We are thrilled to welcome The Three Holiday Tenors – each more talented than the next – to help us welcome in the Holiday season,” said Wroe. “We believe there is something for everyone in this performance. Our concert is a vessel for children, parents, grandparents and friends – indeed the entire community – to come together through festive music at this unique time of the year.”
This seasonal stroll of timeless classics and sentimental favorites, sure to bring joy, smiles, and distinctive holiday memories to one and all, has been made possible in part by support from The Westfield Foundation, a Union County H.E.A.R.T grant and The NJ State Council on the Arts.
The concert takes place on Saturday, December 7 at 7pm at The Presbyterian Church in Westfield. It will also be performed on Sunday, December 8 at 3pm at The Concert Hall at Drew University in Madison.Tickets start at $30 for adults and there is a special discount price of only $15 for all students under 21.
Tickets are also available for Broadway Through the Ages, NJFO’s New Year’s annual musical celebration and one of New Jersey’s much anticipated and most popular New Year’s events.
This year’s performance promises a superb revue of American musical theater showstoppers and Broadway classics presented in glorious symphonic splendor. This is a New Year’s celebration at its finest. Come join the festivities in Westfield on New Year’s Eve at 7pm, as guest Broadway soloists Analisa Leeming (School of Rock, King and I, Hello Dolly), Jacob Keith Walker (Carousel, Hello Dolly) and friends from Dance Theatre of Harlem join Maestro David Wroe to swing to favorites from America’s Great Songbook.
Tickets start at $42 with a special discount price of $15 for students under 21, making this event a perfect way for the entire family to welcome in the New Year together. Patrons are advised to purchase tickets well in advance as this concert has been a sell out for the past five years.
