CDC Theatre Junior Theatre Welcomes Broadway Performer

The cast of CDC Junior Theatre’s production of Footloose, currently preparing for their June 10 and 11 shows at historic CDC Theatre in Cranford, NJ, recently welcomed Broadway, television and film actor Kathy Deitch to the theatre. Ms. Deitch, who portrayed “Urleen” in the original Broadway production of Footloose, took part in a Q & A session about the show and gave the cast a mini-workshop on the opening number of the show.
Footloose celebrates the wisdom of listening to young people, guiding them with a warm heart and an open mind all to the rockin’ rhythm of its Oscar and Tony-nominated top 40 score and augmented with dynamic new songs for the stage musical.
Performances will be at CDC Theatre, 78 Winans Ave. in Cranford June 10 at 8pm and June 11 at 3 and 8pm. Visit www.cdctheatre.org for more information.
