BSA Troop 56 Honors Veterans with New Flags
BSA Troop 56, Millington, NJ, paid tribute to veterans by planting flags at their graves in St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery. Kudos to Mr. Butler for organizing the event. Service is a big part of what scouting is about. We had a great turnout of scouts and adults to help. Old flags that were worn and damaged were replaced with new flags, and where needed, flag holders were also replaced. The old flags were retired at a ceremony in June.
