Breast Cancer Awareness Month

On Friday, October 14th, Employees of the Linden City Hall Offices, Recreation and Public Properties Department, Fire Department, Police Department, and Central Dispatch joined Mayor Derek Armstead to show their support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The 2nd Annual picture was taken on the steps of City Hall and a raffle was held to raise money for the cause. Donations for the raffle were made by Amici’s Restaurant, California Hair Salon, Chris Michaels Steakhouse, Costa’s Café, Delta Dental, D’Italia Restaurant, Falletta Masonry, Linden Superior Officers, Metro Liquors, The Olbrys Family, Robert & Janet Barkoff of Galloping Hill Cruisers, Tiko Nails, Two Tony’s Pizza, WD Snyder, and Councilwoman Gretchen Hickey and Marie Gregorio of House of Flowers. Both the Councilwoman and Mrs. Gregorio joined us for the picture. Also joining the employees was Joanie Konrad a Linden resident and a Breast Cancer Survivor. Employees raised a total of $220. Mayor Derek Armstead would like to thank all our donors and employees for taking part in this cause and raising awareness.
