Veterans Day Celebration
Veterans’ Day is a time to pause and remember the men and women who served our country in the armed forces. This year the Rotary Club of Berkeley Heights will join the celebration by offering a complimentary hot breakfast following the township ceremony on Veterans’ Day.
On November 11, 2023, at 8:30 AM the township will hold a ceremony to honor our veterans at Memorial Field on Plainfield Avenue. Immediately following the ceremony all attendees are invited to share in a hot breakfast provided by the Rotary Club of Berkeley Heights in the Highlander Room of the Municipal Complex. The event is open to the entire community and is complimentary.
“The wonderful thing about Veterans’ Day is it honors all vets, regardless if they saw combat overseas or remained stateside during peacetime, they are all remembered on Veterans’ Day” comments BH Rotary President Dr. Michael, “And the Rotary Club of Berkeley Heights is passionate about bringing the entire community together to honor these men and women.”
The Rotary Club of Berkeley Heights is a community service organization that supports the community in numerous ways such as scholarships, Scouting, and community focused events such as the Veterans’ Day celebration. Breakfast on November 11, 2023, will be provided at no charge and all citizens are encouraged to attend. Please come and recognize our veterans, past and present.
