Restaurant Month in Berkeley Heights
Get ready to take part in Berkeley Height’s most delicious event of the year: Berkeley Heights Restaurant Month. More than 20 eateries and liquor stores are participating. Options range from fine dining to take-out and delivery.
Now in its sixth year, Restaurant Month attracts diners of all ages for breakfast, lunch, and dinner to its fine dining, casual, and quick-serve restaurants:
- Families looking for easy and delicious meals on busy weekdays.
- Friends and co-workers seeking new lunch or dinner options.
- Couples and adult groups of friends returning to a favorite restaurant for a special dinner.
- Teens headed downtown after school.
Jeanne Kingsley, President of the Berkeley Heights Town Council and founder of the Downtown Beautification Committee, which manages the event, said: “These participating restaurants produce fabulous food that keeps Berkeley Heights foodies in town and attracts diners from every nearby town. September is the time to rediscover old favorites and try new places. Every establishment is working hard to make your experience extra special during Restaurant Month.”
In addition to special menus and special deals all month long, dine-in and take-out patrons may win one of many gift cards awarded on the spot, at random, courtesy of the participating establishments and the members of the Berkeley Heights Business and Civic organization.
Restaurant Month kicks off on Thursday, September 1 with a special addition to the Berkeley Heights Recreation Summer Concert Series. The acclaimed classic rock band, “Lost in Place” will play from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at Memorial Park at the corner of Park and Plainfield Avenues. Attendees are encouraged to get food from one of Berkeley Heights’ nearby eateries at enjoy it at the concert, or head out for dinner after the event.
