Prince Street Gallery is pleased to announce Distant Horizons, an exhibition of landscape paintings by Katie Weiss. Based on the artist’s experience of the open landscape as seen in both the Nebraska prairie and the meadowlands of New Jersey, the paintings in this exhibition are a celebration of horizontality. Working within the tradition of Western landscape painting, the artist seeks to convey the sense of movement, light and depth that characterizes these spaces.
The exhibition will be on view through February 24, 2018. Gallery hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 11 a.m .to 6 p.m.
