Bellmann Takes 1st in Reading Contest
Congratulations to AOL scout Constantin Bellmann of Pack 182 Warren for winning First Place in the 2021 National Scout Life Reading Contest. Constantin was featured in the May 2022 Scout Life Magazine and was the recipient of a $100 Scout Shop gift card. Constantin wrote a 500 word book report on one of his all-time favorites, The Mysterious Benedict Society by Trenton Lee Stewart. ‘Constantin says the book reminds people to use their talents for good and to help people instead of harming them, “This book is about friendship, loyalty, honesty, truth and perhaps the most important – kindness. We are all unique and we all have a gift but we need to work together to achieve greatness and make the world a better place.”’ Constantin will continue scouting in Boy Scout Troop 228 in Warren and hopes to achieve his Eagle Rank.
