Calvary Lutheran Church invites the community to join them for the program “Beer and Bible”. It is a discussion group that meets once a month at the Cranford Hotel. “We are taking God out of the church and into the community. “ stated Pastor Carol. This year, the group is talking about Martin Luther and the 500th anniversary of the Reformation. Come hear how this former monk threw the world on its ear by questioning the long-standing teachings of the Catholic Church. “Beer and Bible” meets next on Wednesday, October 11 at 7pm (6:30pm for dinner) and ends with Holy Communion by 8:30pm. Participants will pay for their own meals and beverages.
