Bayberry Spelling Bee Champions

On Monday, January 23rd, Bayberry School in Watchung held its 2017 Spelling Bee. There were seventeen entrants to begin, and after five rounds of spelling words, the Bee came down to the final two students. The two students pictured above (from left to right) are runner-up Isabella Thomas, and Bee champion Rhea Patel. These two fourth grade students battled word for word for almost twenty five minutes. Rhea Patel will move on to the SCLSNJ Bee Spectacular on March 11th at the Somerset County Vo-Tech building.”
