Author Talks at the Library
The Summit Free Public Library is thrilled to announce a series of four virtual author talks in August 2023. The featured authors include acclaimed journalists and New York Times bestselling authors. These talks will be held via Zoom, giving literary enthusiasts an opportunity to participate in live Q&A sessions and engage in rich discussions with acclaimed authors. “Stay cool this August while enjoying conversations with leading authors on a variety of topics,” said Abby Brady, Head of Adult Services at the Summit Library.

Jennifer Wallace: August 8, from 7-8pm
Journalist Jennifer Wallace will discuss her upcoming book, “Never Enough: When Achievement Culture Becomes Toxic — And What We Can Do About It.”
Robert Jones Jr.: August 15, from 4-5pm*
Author Robert Jones Jr. will speak on his New York Times bestselling book, “The Prophets.”
Cassandra Clare: August 23, from 8-9pm*
Celebrated author Cassandra Clare will discuss her final installment in the popular “The Last Hours” series, “Chain of Thorns.”
Jeff Selingo: August 30, from 2-3pm*
Jeff Selingo, renowned journalist and New York Times bestselling author, will talk about his latest book, “Who Gets In and Why: A Year Inside College Admissions.”
