Arjun Saha Choudhury named Regeneron Scholar
Millburn Public Schools
Congratulations to Millburn High School Senior, Arjun Saha Choudhury, who was named as a Regeneron Science Talent Search (STS) Top 300 Scholar! The Regeneron STS, formerly known as the Intel STS (and before that the Westinghouse STS) is generally regarded as our country’s oldest and most prestigious science competition. Thirteen alumni of the STS have gone on to win the Nobel Prize and two have won the Fields Medal. Entrants conduct original research and submit a research paper documenting their findings. The title of Arjun’s research project was “MELODY: Exploring the Characteristics of Music That Helps Relieve Stress.”
Arjun was a student in the MHS Science Research Program in 10th grade and 11th grade and was mentored by Dr. Susan Arrigoni. He is now a senior. We wish the very best to Arjun in this moment of victory–it is well-deserved and another example of how excellence continues in our schools!
