Arbor Day Celebration in Long Hill Township
Despite dark skies and some raindrops, Mayor Matt Dorsi read an Arbor Day Proclamation to an enthusiastic group of shade tree lovers on Friday, April 25, 2019 at the old Millington Schoolhouse on Long Hill Road. The occasion marked the completion of the Shade Tree Commission’s (STC) 2019 Challenge Grant Program. This year, eighteen new trees will be planted along the sides of our roads through the participation of the home-owners and with the hard work of the Department of Public Works in Long Hill Township.
