Allison Salvetti to Compete in The “Olympics” of Irish Dance

Allison Salvetti, a Berkeley Heights resident and a sophomore at Governor Livingston High School, will compete in The World’s Irish Dance Competition. Allison will travel to Dublin, Ireland this April where she will represent the Mid-Atlantic Region competing against dancers from around the world. This is her 2nd time qualifying and competing. Last year she attended the World’s Irish Dance Competition in Glasgow, Scotland.
Allison has studied Irish Dance for 11 years and dances with The Marie Moore School of Irish Dance located in Scotch Plains. Allison is also a member of the Senior Ladies 8 hand Ceili team that will also be competing at Worlds. Allison looks forward to her first trip to Dublin, Ireland and is excited to represent her school and region in the “Olympics” of Irish Dance.
