2022 Congressional Arts Competition
Millburn Public Schools
Millburn High School student, Mahima Kaur Kapur, has won Honorable Mention in the 2022 Congressional Arts Competition coordinated by Representative Tom Malinowski, for high school students in New Jersey’s 7th Congressional District.
There were 74 art pieces in the competition with 1 top winner and 3 Honorable mention recipients. Mahima’s artwork will now hang in Representative Malinowski’s office in Washington for a year. In addition to the impressive nature of the piece itself, a representation of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Mahima is to be commended for her initiative in participating in the competition, as each student artist must apply and submit their artwork independently.
