Fanwood Borough Celebrates 100th Birthday of Joe Schott

Joe Schott 100th Birthday Drive-by

Fanwood police, fire and rescue did a drive-by for one of the town’s special residents on Friday, February 18th. Joe Schott turned 100 on February 19th. He is well known around town, a WWII veteran, very active in Boy Scout leadership for years and a volunteer in Fanwood. He received a loud tribute for his birthday on the front lawn of his home surrounded by family, friends, neighbors and first responders. He was surprised by the large, noisy turnout!
