Cranford VFW Post #335 will be holding their annual Veterans Day Breakfast on Sunday, November 7, 2021, 9 a.m. at the VFW Post Home at 479 South Ave., in Cranford. The featured speaker this year will be Major General (Ret) Robert A. Karmazin of Morris County, formerly of US Special Operations at MacDill Air Force Base, Florida.
This is a free “sit down” breakfast open to any and all area veterans. Local and state officials as well as Cranford students will be among those addressing the veterans at this highly popular event. He also has been deployed both to Iraq and Afghanistan in support of Special Operations. The General is retired from the NJ State Police where he served as a Captain/Bureau Chief. A 27-year veteran of law enforcement, General Karmazin currently is the Director of Police in Hopewell Township.
There is no reservation required for this free breakfast which has been one of the most important and highly attended events on the Cranford VFW’s annual calendar. The breakfast will be served by members of the VFW Post Auxiliary and by Cranford Boy and Girl Scout members.
