Roselle Park Saves 342 Lives with Blood Donations

Save Lives with Blood Donations

Since the start of the pandemic, the Borough of Roselle Park, in partnership with the American Red Cross, has collected 114 pints of blood, resulting in 342 lives saved.

For the last year, the United States has faced a blood shortage, warning that blood supplies across the country are critically low, with less than a five-day supply of blood products to spare. During that time, the Casano Community Center has hosted multiple blood drives to provide much-needed blood during the community’s time of need.

“Once again, Roselle Park has stepped up for the community. Thank you to Rupen Shah and the Casano Community Center for hosting safe, and socially-distanced blood drives which have saved hundreds of lives,” said Roselle Park Mayor Joseph Signorello.

If you are available to donate please call 1-800-733-2767 or visit RedCrossBlood.org and enter: RosellePark to schedule an appointment.
