Clark Emergency Squad 2021 officers
The Clark Volunteer Emergency Squad (CVES) recently held a ceremony to swear-in the newly elected officers for 2021. Instead of the usual formal dinner, the Squad chose a small service this year, as a measure of safety during the pandemic.
Councilman Patrick O’Connor who serves as the Council Liaison to the CVES was on hand to swear in the new officers. He thanked each member of the team for their volunteerism, dedication, and sacrifice. O’Connor shared that his dad was a volunteer firefighter in town for many years and that he understood what it was like to have his dad miss a holiday, birthday or other event in service to others.
After the members were sworn in, the crew enjoyed some camaraderie and refreshments.
