‘A Letter to My Younger Self’
The College Woman’s Club of Westfield essay contest, ‘A Letter to My Younger Self,’ is now open for female sophomores in high school.
Reflect on your life and examine your successes and failures. Write a letter to your younger self, telling yourself 5 important things to know about success and failure. Please include any important messages you might wish to tell your younger self.
The essay contest is open to female sophomore students attending public, private, parochial or home school. Applicant must be a current Westfield resident. Please include your full name, address and cell phone number on your essay application. The typed essay must be 500 words or less. Essay must be your original work.
The contest deadline is Monday, February 15, 2021. Please submit your essay to our email: cwc.westfield@gmail.com.

Since 1917, the College Woman’s Club’s mission has been to further higher education of women. Our primary purpose is the awarding of scholarships to young women from Westfield on the basis of academics, leadership and financial need.
