Police Toys for Tots Drive
The Garwood Police Department, The Garwood Fire Department, The Garwood First Aid Squad, as well as The Garwood Girl Scouts Troop # 41290 are partnering up again for this years Toys for Tots Campaign. You can drop off a new and unwrapped toys at the Garwood Police Department.
For those wishing to donate but want to remain socially distant a link below will allow you to shop for toys or donate to the Toy Drive. If you would like to shop online from an alternate retailer please have the toys shipped to the Garwood Police Department and mark it as Attn: to TOYS FOR TOTS CAMPAIGN.
You will also notice throughout the local businesses in Garwood they have displayed a poster with a QR code to scan and will also send you straight to the donation shop site. All donations will be notified to the department.
Dates to look out for are December 12th where the Garwood Fire Department will have their annual Santa Ride. They will be collecting donations throughout the ride as well as at the Station throughout the whole day. And December 13th the Garwood First Aid Squad will have their annual Blood Drive where they will be collecting donations as well from 8am to 4pm.
Gunnery Sgt. Mario Monaco (USMC) will be picking up all collecting toys and donations on Monday December 14th. Please contribute any way you can and continue to put smiles on the faces of the children who are less fortunate this holiday season.
