UnionTV34 ‘Homemade Mother’s Day Greetings’
The Township of Union, along with UnionTV34, is once again offering residents the opportunity to show Mom how much she means to everyone in her life on Mother’s Day. However, due to the current pandemic, they are asking its residents to film their videos at the comfort of their homes and submit the greeting for their Virtual Mother’s Day segment.
“At times like this, it was necessary to continue our tradition of showcasing our students and keeping a semblance of normalcy,” stated Mayor Michele Delisfort. “Our Mother’s Day segment has always been popular and is something that I look forward to every year, as do so many other parents.”
The Mother’s Day Greeting segment started in 2006 when Union TV34 ventured into Union’s elementary schools to capture students’ warm greetings to the women that mean the most to them. This year, the program has been expanded to children and adults of all ages, giving every Union resident the option to upload your greetings.
The Mother’s Day Virtual Homemade Greetings will play on a loop, so if you missed a greeting, stay tuned, and it will run again.
Videos should be filmed horizontally, not be more than 30 seconds long, and must be submitted by May 7th, 2020. Submissions can be uploaded online at www.uniontv34.com.
