Skating For Smiles

“Skating For Smiles” was an event organized by a group of area teens in an effort to build local awareness about Operation Smile, a charity that sends volunteers all over the globe to correct the facial deformities of children born with cleft lips and palates. Held at the Westfield Rink on February 29, with a very special guest appearance by ex-Captain of the NJ Devils, Bryce Salvador, the skating fundraiser will end up paying for close to 30 surgeries, changing the recipients’ lives forever.
