WHS Guitarist to Perform with 2020 Jazz Band of America
Westfield High School 12th grade guitarist Stephen Park has been selected to the 2020 Jazz Band of America. “Stephen will travel to Indiana in March to play in an ensemble comprised of the best high school jazz musicians in the country,” says Jazz Band Director Trevor Sindorf. This national honor ensemble is selected by recorded audition. “The Jazz Band of America is recognized as one of the top honor ensembles for young musicians in the nation, with a prestigious legacy and reputation for the highest level of excellence,” according to organizers of the Music for All National Festival to be held on March 11-14, 2020.
