This popular group began from donations from members’ yarn stashes. Now this gathering of fiber enthusiasts has become one of the library’s most popular adult programs. The group receives donations of yarn from members of the public, as well as yarn companies and the Friends of the Kenilworth Public Library. Thanks to a generous donation from the Ralph Errington Charitable Foundation the Kenilworth Public Library now has a Saori weaving loom.

Thanks to members of our group, especially Debra Guravage, donations of hundreds of handknit hats and scarves have made their way to many local shelters.

The Kenilworth Public Library “Yarnies” meet Wednesdays from 3:00-5:00 p.m., and the last Thursday of the month from 6:00-7:45 p.m. Do you want to learn how to knit, crochet, weave or spin? Members of this group are ready to help you! This is a free program.
