“The Crucible” at Chatham High School
On November 22 & 23, 2019, the Chatham High School Theatre Department will present Arthur Miller’s powerful drama, The Crucible. Set during the Salem Witch Trials of 1692, The Crucible is both a gripping historical play and a timely parable of our contemporary society. Performances will be held Friday, November 22 and Saturday, November 23 at 7:30 p.m.
As is CHS Theatre tradition, local senior citizens are invited to attend the final dress rehearsal on Thursday, November 21 at 3:30 p.m. at the CHS Performing Arts Center immediately followed by a complimentary dinnerhosted by the Chatham Education Association. Seating for the dress rehearsal is unrestricted, however, dinner reservations are limited to 80. Tickets for performances are $12.00 for student/senior citizens and $15.00 for adults and can be purchased in advance online athttps://chscrucible.brownpapertickets.com starting Monday, November 11. Tickets will also be sold at the door one hour before each performance.This show contains mature subject matter and is recommended for ages 12 and up.
