Historical Society Bus Trips to Mohegan Sun Casino & Bethlahem, PA
The Kenilworth Historical Society will host a bus trip to Mohegan Sun Casino (Uncasville, Connecticut) on Saturday, October 26, and to historic Bethlehem, Pa., on Saturday, December 7, 2019.
The October 26 Mohegan Sun trip will depart from Kenilworth (St. Theresa’s School parking lot) at 8 a.m. and return to Kenilworth at approximately 9 p.m. Cost of $60 includes comfortable motor coach transportation; an approximate six-hour visit to the casino, which additionally houses a wide range of distinctive shops and popular restaurants; a $15 coupon for the casino’s sumptuous buffet, another type of meal or shopping; and a $10 coupon for free bets.
The December 7 Bethlehem trip will depart from Kenilworth (St. Theresa’s school parking lot) at 8 a.m. and return to Kenilworth at approximately 8 p.m. Cost of $95 includes comfortable motor coach transportation; a visit to Bethlehem’s beautiful Moravian Putz and spectacular Christkindlmarkt, featuring a vast array of culinary delights, unique shops and festive entertainment; and an enchanting guided bus tour of Bethlehem at night with its famous star, and more.

As space is limited on these popular outings, it is suggested that reservations be made by October 12 for the Mohegan Sun trip and by November 7 for the Bethlehem trip to ensure availability. Gift certificates for the trips are available for purchase.
Proceeds will benefit the Kenilworth Historical Society’s historic Oswald J. Nitschke House (c. 1880) by helping defray operating expenses, including the cost of an elevator that makes the restored “living history” museum and cultural arts center fully accessible to everyone.
