Cub Scout Den 1 of Pack 145 recently met with Mayor Sal Bonaccorso to earn part of their Building A Better World requirement. They are in fifth grade, second year Webelos, Arrow of Light. They needed to meet with a government or community leader and learn about his or her role in their community. They needed to discuss with the leader an important issue facing our community. The boys listened to the Mayor talk about issues such as where our tax money is used and how it is decided where we spend that money. The boys asked many insightful questions and learned a lot in our meeting. We thank Mayor Bonaccorso for taking his time to meet with our boys.
