The Madison Rotary Club’s drawing of the winning tickets for their annual 50/50 raffle took place on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at their Christmas luncheon held at the Madison Area Y. The proceeds of the sale of 600 tickets at $100 each is the Club’s major fundraiser. Along with other fundraisers during the year, the Club distributes these funds to numerous local charities and non profit organizations in May through their Grants and Sponsorship program. Last year the club distributed $40,000 between grants, sponsorships, and high school senior scholarships. Prizes for the 50/50 Raffle are 1st Prize: $20,000; 2nd Prize: $5,000; 3rd Prize: $3,000; 4th Prize: 1200; 5th Prize: $800.
