The 2018 Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School Golf Team endured a season of dramatically cold and rainy weather and finished the season with a 13-3 record.
The team, consisting of Jimmy Bagdonas, Jared Bloom, Patrick Bourke, Sam Calao, Louie Daniele, Miguel Fontora, Sean Illanovsky, John Williamson and Jonathan Yu earned the school’s fifth North II Group 3 Sectional Championship scoring a 33 lead by Jared Bloom’s 2 under par score of 70.
The Golf Team’s successful season culminated with a 7th place finish in the State Tournament of Champions led by Louie Daniele’s fifth place finish. The complete team, led by Coach Ryan Goracy, had an incredible year.
